top 8
top 8 is an iOS and Android app that lets you pick up to 8 friends and share your top 8 everywhere and with anyone. I’m currently building this app with two friends.
MVP Mechanic
Download the iOS or Android app and enable contact permissions.
Pick up to 8 contacts to include in your top 8.
Once you’re done, the app will send out invites to your top 8.
Recipients download the app, and create their top 8.
Post your top 8 to instagram, snap, twitter, tiktok and to anywhere via a link.
Potential MVP follow ups
Tag friends with a descriptive tagline. ex: “spicy af”, “bff”, “my crush”
Web profile of someone’s top 8. “http://top8.ink/emmanuel”
Add a high school so you can see top8’s in your school.
Show a feed of top8s from people in your contact list.
Label someone as a crush. Send recipient a notification: “Someone has a crush on you. reveal who”
Leaderboard of people that are part of the most top 8s.

Resurrect a vintage feature that was part of MySpace.
